Kreate Hub Art Studio Space in Nashville

Kreate Hub Nashville is housed in the former world headquarters of Gibson Guitar, connecting our community directly to Nashville’s legendary music and creative history. Today, Kreate Hub is giving this iconic address a new chapter as a home for artists, musicians, makers, designers, entrepreneurs, technologists, and creative businesses. Since opening, we have transformed the campus into a thriving creative community, hosting gallery exhibitions, live music and songwriter events, pop up markets, workshops, and community gatherings while giving independent creatives an affordable place to build, collaborate, and grow. Recognized by the Tennessee Arts Commission as part of Tennessee’s makerspace community, Kreate Hub is carrying forward the spirit of creativity that has long defined this building. From Gibson to Kreate Hub, this is a place where Nashville’s creative history continues to be made.

Jessica Bobbitt Doaks Owner | CEO

Jessica Bobbitt Doaks is the owner/curator of The Black Candle Company. With a career in nursing of over 14 years, Jessica decided a career change was necessary. The idea of expressing her creativity while while being the sole dictator of her time was the ultimate goal of freedom. She began her entrepreneurship journey in 2016 with the birth of Jessica Doaks Interior Design, LLC. She found love and passion through expressive creativity by way of interior design. That same love and passion has now manifested itself in her drive and enthusiasm for her luxury home fragrance brand.

Jessica started her business in July 2021 after a tumultuous year filled with temporary physical disabilities, struggles with fertility, and mental health struggles. After purchasing a candle kit several years prior, she decided to pull the candle making kit out to experiment. Little did she know, it would turn into something very much therapeutic.

The Black Candle Company is a luxury home fragrance collection specializing in affordable luxury offering a collection of simple, minimal, and modern label-less candles and more creating a seamless transition into any space. The Black Candle Company prides themselves on providing clean burning, vegan, cruelty-free, and eco-friendly products.
